Meet Mike

Mr. Dalton has 30 years of experience in the field of fire investigation. He spent 27 years as the Fire Investigator for Knox County Sheriff's Office.  He is also a former Director for the Tennessee Fire Marshal's Office in the Bomb and Arson section. Mr. Dalton has served in several leadership positions within the Tennessee Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.   

Mr. Dalton was elected in 2007 and in 2010 to serve on the board of directors for the International Association of Arson Investigators. He is an experienced lecturer on various topics in origin and cause investigations. Mr. Dalton has conducted administrative and technical reviews for Kirk's Fire Investigation, 7th edition, Fire Scene Reconstruction, 2nd and 3rd editions, and Fire Investigator: Principles and Practice to NFPA 921 and 1033.
